Beginning with the Creation story in Genesis, the article explores what it means to see our lives and the world around us through God’s perspective—not simply looking at His Word, but learning to look along it and allowing Scripture to shape how we understand ourselves and our purpose.

At the heart of the article is Abraham Kuyper’s powerful declaration that there is not a square inch of human existence over which Christ, who is sovereign over all, does not declare, “Mine!”

That leaves us with some deeply personal questions:

• What does it mean to you for every area of your life to belong to Christ?
• Are there parts of our lives that Christians sometimes have difficulty surrendering to God?
• How does seeing God as both Creator and Sovereign change the way we understand our purpose?
• What does it mean to live as someone created in the image of God?

• What do you consider your own “domain”—the places, relationships, responsibilities, gifts, and areas of influence God has entrusted to you?
