NACOG’s 110th Camp Meeting continued Wednesday morning with worship, prayer, and a message centered on being “A Chosen Generation for Sanctification.”
The service began with a strong call to seek God’s presence, give Him praise, and remember our need for Him in every season of life. The worship and prayer helped point the morning back to dependence on God, spiritual renewal, and the goodness of the Lord.
The message was brought by Reverend Cynthia Thomas, who preached from 1 Peter 1:13–16. Her message focused on the call for believers to live set apart for God with spiritual maturity and moral clarity.
Sanctification is not just a church word. It is the daily work of allowing God to shape our hearts, minds, choices, and conduct. It means we do not simply follow the patterns around us, but learn to live in a way that reflects the holiness of the God who called us.
The message challenged believers to remain focused, remain firm, and remain faithful. In a world full of distractions, compromise, and pressure, God’s people are called to stay spiritually alert, rooted in His Word, and obedient to His leading.
This is not always easy. Life brings frustration, conflict, uncertainty, and temptation. But the call remains the same: represent Christ in the way we speak, respond, serve, forgive, and live.
