NACOG’s 110th Camp Meeting continued Tuesday morning with worship, prayer, Scripture, and a message centered on what it means to be part of “A Chosen Generation.”

This service included a strong focus on God’s presence, unity among believers, and the call for God’s people to live set apart for Him. The worship reminded listeners to hold to God’s unchanging hand, while the prayers pointed the church back to healing, deliverance, hope, and the power of God’s presence.

The message was brought by Reverend Mark Kevin Richardson, who preached around the theme “Chosen for Consecration.” Drawing from 1 Peter 2:9–10 and Psalm 50:1–6, the message reminded believers that being chosen by God is not only an identity we receive. It is also a calling we live out.

Consecration is about being set apart for God. It is not just avoiding what is wrong, but intentionally surrendering our lives, habits, attitudes, distractions, and burdens to Him.

The message challenged listeners to consider what needs to be removed from their lives so they can walk more faithfully with the Lord. Things like fear, bitterness, comparison, distraction, discouragement, division, and old wounds can weigh us down if we refuse to bring them before God.

But the message did not stop with elimination. It also pointed toward exaltation and celebration. When we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us, our lives can lift up Christ more clearly. We are not called to simply survive spiritually. We are called to worship, give thanks, rejoice, and live with the joy of belonging to God.

One of the strong reminders from the service was that we do not have to carry every burden forever. We can bring our burdens to the Lord and leave them with Him.

As you watch the video, take time to reflect on this question:

What is God asking me to surrender so I can live more fully consecrated to Him?

Watch the service, pray for those gathering at Camp Meeting, and ask the Lord to continue shaping His people into a chosen generation that reflects His holiness, presence, and joy.
